ACTIVE INGREDIENT – Copper Sulfate Pentahydrate

Double-Chelated Formulation

INSTILL-O’s patented double-chelation process transforms copper sulfate pentahydrate into a unique copper complex designed for controlled delivery into plant tissue. The formulation allows copper to be absorbed at a rate that supports effective uptake while minimizing phytotoxicity risk. This proprietary copper complex differentiates INSTILL-O from other copper products, including those with the same EPA-recognized active ingredient.

MODE OF ACTION

INSTILL-O bactericide and fungicide employs multi-site activity to provide broad-spectrum control of fungal and bacterial diseases.

Contact Activity

• • Copper ions provide direct activity against fungal and bacterial pathogens on treated plant surfaces. 

Systemic Activity

• • Double-chelated copper is absorbed into plant tissue and translocated throughout the plant for inside-out protection.
  • Systemic movement helps extend protection beyond treated surfaces to the source of attack and developing new growth.

COPPER THAT WORKS FROM THE INSIDE OUT

INSTILL-O bactericide and fungicide utilize patented double-chelated technology to rapidly move copper into treated plant tissue and throughout the plant, providing broad-spectrum disease control while helping protect new plant growth for up to 21 days. 

Unlike conventional copper that remains primarily on the plant surface, INSTILL-O moves copper into treated plant tissue and throughout the plant for effective inside-out disease protection, excellent rainfastness and exceptional crop safety while reducing copper runoff to help preserve soil health.

Formulated as a solution, not a suspension, INSTILL-O helps simplify copper applications from mixing to field while its efficient delivery reduces reliance on high amounts of metallic copper.

• Less product to mix and load helps reduce handling and spray-tank turnaround. 
• Mixes easily, even in cold water, and remains in solution without settling in tanks or plugging nozzles.
