Peter brings more than 30 years of experience in the crop protection industry, with a focus on trees, nuts, fruits, vines, vegetables, hemp, and other specialty crops throughout the Western U.S. He has managed branded and post-patent products at both regional and national levels.
Since founding Sym-Agro, Inc., in 2012, Peter has focused on the growing market for biologicals, bioactivators, and soft chemistries. He started his career with Rhone-Poulenc as a sales representative in the Pacific Northwest. When Sedagri was launched, he managed the company’s post-patent portfolio and later became a regional account manager during the transition to Aventis.
Peter then founded AgValue, Inc., where he gained an in-depth understanding of U.S. ag distribution, business cycles, competitive relationships within regions, and channel value propositions. His experience operating a post-patent company also included navigating EPA and state regulatory processes, as well as toll production and packaging.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Crop Science from Oregon State University, Corvallis, and lives with his family in Aurora, Oregon.
